Liked: Hotel is very clean. Room is small but very comfortable. Nicely decorated.
Disliked: Be aware that overnight valet parking costs $48. Valet was inflexible and rude when I just wanted to stop off to check in. Closest street parking was 10min walk away, with just a couple of spots available. Only permit parking nearby the hotel.

Palihotel's Beautiful Exterior, Disappointing Experience

Liked: The hotel is visually appealing and comfortable.
Disliked: It's truly a shame that my recent stay at Palihotel was overshadowed by a multitude of disappointments, as the hotel itself boasts a visually appealing and comfortable environment. Despite Palihotel's attractive exterior and promising ambiance, the overall experience fell far short of expectations, especially considering the high price point.Upon arrival, the initially positive impression quickly waned as the reception staff failed to meet even the most basic standards of hospitality. Their lackluster and slow service set a discouraging tone for the duration of my stay. For the premium price charged by Palihotel, one would rightfully expect a much higher level of professionalism and efficiency from the staff.The breakfast experience was particularly disheartening. Despite Palihotel's comfortable surroundings, the entire restaurant was uncomfortably cold, with no heating option available despite the chilly weather outside. This oversight detracted significantly from what should have been a pleasurable dining experience.Unfortunately, the disappointments did not end there. Interactions with the staff throughout my stay were consistently negative, with a noticeable absence of kindness, respect, and helpfulness. It's evident that for a hotel charging premium rates, the staff should be properly trained in hospitality and customer service to ensure a pleasant and welcoming atmosphere.Despite Palihotel's aesthetic appeal, the lack of basic courtesy from the staff cast a shadow over the entire experience. It's truly unfortunate that such potential is undermined by these glaring shortcomings. Until significant improvements are made to the level of service provided, particularly given the high price point, I would hesitate to recommend Palihotel to others.

Very chic and clean hotel...

Liked: The room was great! Very clean and very large comfortable shower. The TV was good. It was a very quite space. Lots of tempting items in the refrigerator but I abstained, LOL. Prices where sky high for the little treats.
Disliked: The price is very HIGH, LOL. It was nice but you pay for it for sure. I'm guess I'm spoiled traveling outside of the USA and getting a whole apartment for $250 or less per week instead of one room for night.

Cozy home like stay in...

Liked: All staffs at your recption were very caring and welcoming.This made my stav so special.
Disliked: Strange sound was heard throughout the night even if I turned off the air conditioner.

Liked: I really love the location and the authenticity of the hotel. It was very nicely decorated and the restaurant below was very nice with good vibes I think it was the neighborhood's gem.
Disliked: Parking prices were too high unfortunately. It was way too expensive.

Great place for single people...

Liked: Loved the attention from the staff and the wonderful servers and staff at the Simonette.The food is AMAZING and the Nespresso coffee machine in the room was great!The rainshower showerhead was AMAZING!LOVED that I could open the window and let the fresh air into the room!Room freshened up each day which made me feel so special.Loved having the Shampoo, Conditioner and Shower Gel in the shower as well as having a special face washcloth
Disliked: - No creamer in the room for coffee (not a huge deal)- No fitness center onsite or info about fitness center options- The rooms are a tad small and I kept stubbing my toes on the bedframe legs

Favorite hotel in the great...

Liked: Love the Pali hotel in Culver City. Great location, comfortable and great staff. On this trip unfortunately the great Simonette restaurant was closed but they provided coffee and pastries in the mornings for breakfast.
Disliked: Something small ! - Rooms have great coffee machines but no creamers or napkins !?
