Exceptional

I was excited to stay...

Liked: The restaurant and food were great. The front desk staff, especially Mia, were terrific. The bed was really comfortable.
Disliked: The room was small and not very comfortable for sitting. It seemed a bit stark. No tissue and a light out. Light switches hard to figure out. Loud music from the restaurant across the street in the evening.

Perfect location ✨

Liked: The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone staying in LA, especially first timers. Sure, it's an Uber ride to most places but that's LA. The hotel itself is really nice, the staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. There's a tonne of places to eat and drink around the hotel too. Great stay for if you want to be close enough to the beach, but in a quieter area.
Disliked: We didn't get our room cleaned at any point during our stay, and the bathroom was a tad odd with there being a window from the bedroom to the toilet but small complaints.

Disliked: The staff was bad. They told us we didn’t need a reservation for brunch the next day even though I asked several times. Then when we came down for brunch they said they had no space and should have made a reservation. The manager was useless and disappointing. It left a bad taste in our mouths for this hotel which we otherwise would have given more business too because it is a convenient location.

Great area in the middle...

Liked: Hotel was nice and in a great walkable location. Easy access to Santa Monica or Downtown with the Metro, or Venice via bus. The Culver City area has lots of restaurant options and there were weekend markets/ events while we were there.
Disliked: No street parking, so we parked in the Culver Steps parking garage overnight for $19 (Apr 2025).

Overall, I enjoyed my stay...

Liked: The property is esthetically pleasing and the rooms are comfortable.
Disliked: I was not a fan that the bathroom has a portion of the design that is see through. It made using the bathroom less private.
