not your ordinary hotel...a good...

Liked: unique location and medieval architecture, very quiet in the middle of nowhere yet close to the autostrada
Disliked: the coffee

Ok for one night but...

Liked: The area was quite nice.The breakfast was fairly good.The bed was big and comfortable.
Disliked: We didn't get the room i had selected so it was awkward for us as 2 single people sleeping in a double bed. The air conditioning was not switched on despite us feeling hot after travelling and walking to the place The manager refused to switch it on as it had been cold previously.....I thought there would be more trails around the grounds but apart from a trail that forms part of the walk from Bologna to Sasso Marconi there was nothing much to see. The room was old but lacked warmth and charm.

Liked: Such a lovely place. We had a late arrival but were still kindly offered some drink and snack options by the wonderful staff. Breakfast was excellent too. We will be back. Grazie Mille.
