Liked: The location was amazing. Super clean. Was able to get the room completely dark so sleeping was good.
Disliked: Well not their issue but the power was out. Generators were a bit loud.

Unexpected overcharges

Disliked: I stayed at Palacio Provincial for two nights and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. While the hotel has a charming aesthetic and the staff seemed pleasant, there were a few serious issues worth noting.First, the rooms lack natural light—the windows are either blocked or offer no real outside view, which makes the space feel dark and a bit claustrophobic. That might be okay for some, but definitely not what I expected from a property in beautiful Old San Juan.But the worst part of my stay was the billing issue. I booked through Booking.com and was quoted a specific price, but I was charged $220 more than expected. I disputed the charge and after multiple follow-ups, I was refunded only $43. I find this extremely disappointing and concerning, especially considering this hotel is listed as a Hilton property. That kind of lack of transparency and accountability is not what I’d expect from a brand with Hilton’s reputation.
