Liked: It was very pretty. The staff was amazing.
Disliked: Our room was quite small and the common area was not very inviting to make up for the small room. Our room backed up to the street. We heard neighbors talking starting at 6 am.

Most Romantic Stay.

Liked: From the moment we checked in Shawn greeted us and showed us around giving us the history behind each room and the property. Shaun pointed out where to find everything we needed. He also helped us choose our breakfast which we would need to do for each day that we stayed. The best check in experience that we?ve ever had. The space was just what we hoped for....a romantic getaway. When we needed extra coffee or firewood for the room Shaun took care of that. Being able to use the spa at the El Monte was amazing. So relaxing! Breakfast in our room was a nice treat and the social aspect of having breakfast with the other guests was really enjoyable. Lauren was delightful! It was easy to get downtown and to everywhere we wanted to go. We didn?t want to leave.

Liked: Room was beautiful and very good amenities
Disliked: Breakfast was not done well. Did not offer any toast and had to ask for items we had requested the evening before. They were more interested in getting breakfast for those taking it in their rooms. Grounds were in poor condition.
