Liked: Nothing. I was not in the historic hotel, I was in the house next door…not a historic moment!
Disliked: Two houses…I booked thinking I was staying in the historic house and they put me in a house next door! Nothing historic about it! False advertisement. The sheets and towels were clean, but the thrift store furniture was not expected.

Liked: Traveling for work which means I did not have the luxury to go back home and ended up paying out-of-pocket for another hotel across town because I didn’t have a choiceI left after 30 minutes I argued with my booking company for two hours after I leftI fought with my bank for two weeks after to be refundedIn the end, I was not refunded for anything, even though I did not stay. And personally, I understand he’s trying to run a business, but you shouldn’t put weekend tenants in with those who are staying long-term because obviously people are living in that property and it’s not disclosed. In all the pictures there are two houses so it’s a gamble really if you get one house or the other, but I paid to stay in a historic house and was put into a modern house that was turned into a hostile. I think I feel it’s unfair to not disclose this at check-in in. There are several people who have stayed and enjoyed their stay, but I was not one of them and I just ask you to exercise caution because this is 100% nonrefundable no matter what you say do or how long you stay.

Enjoyable and relaxing time.

Liked: The house was beautiful and the room, furnished in the period, was beautiful! The house was very quiet and comfortable. Staff was very friendly, and we enjoyed visiting with James, especially.
