Very surprised a little gem...

Liked: The bed was exceptional comfort room was very quiet.

Exceptional

Liked: The tv, the fridge, the attention of the staff
Disliked: The bathroom should have a better smell and be cleaner. Same with the kitchen.

Padstow Hotel well done.

Liked: Lovely staff excellent location and local shopping, the train right across the road, only 15 mins into central. Small room very well appointed with a fridge as well. Lovely comfy bed. Had share bathroom, hot shower, and kitchen facilities excellent, (other residents tend to be bit untidy) but overall will definitely use again on next visit to Sydney. Drove up from Melbourne so not too much city driving to get to. Parking also. Less than $200 for 2 nights, thankyou Padstow! Didn't get a chance to eat there tho many people were, but looked a lovely, friendly atmosphere all around! A real local watering hole!

Disliked: Early morning noise, maybe from other guests.

Basic but good

Liked: Rather basic, but quite good. 12 rooms over a pub restaurant. Shared toilet, showers etc (separate M/F), kitchen. Rooms aircon, clean and quiet.
Disliked: The shared facilities.

Served my purposes really well....

Liked: I liked that Padstow Park Hotel was exactly as I expected from reading online. All good.
Disliked: The 'fire-escape-type' stairs to the first floor accommodation (with a heavy case) weren't great, but ok.Also, the extra bathroom at the end of the hallway could be better labelled so it's clear that it's a 'private' facility for certain resident/s.
