Liked: room was as expected, not spotless but clean enough, hotel decor quite dated
Disliked: food, at both dinner & breakfast was not of good quality, akin to quality you used to get at little chef restaurants on the roadside!

Liked: Friendly staff, pleasant surroundings, and a nice room.We had a very nice meal at the hotel too.
Disliked: Nothing to very honest. It was excellent for our two night stay.

Liked: The location was ok
Disliked: Room was not the cleanest. Bathroom floor looked like it had been swept but needed mopping. The bed was very soft like it had gone soft as it was so old. There were peanuts loose in one draw.The only good thing about breakfast was the bacon. The fried eggs were smothered in black pepper. The scrambled eggs was also full of black pepper. The sausages were average at best but came out late. Not many staff about and reception was rarely manned.Lift wasn't working and no one knew when it was getting fixed.Overall very poor value for money especially as we paid a premium price but got a budget hotel.I also emailed the hotel but they did not have the decency to reply

Liked: Breakfast was excellent. The staff were very kind, polite and helpful. The room was peacefull - all four of us had a very good sleep there.
Disliked: The lift to the upper floor was out of action!

Liked: Good location for family wedding nearby.
Disliked: Was allocated accessible room, which wasn't required
