Exceptional

Liked: Met the owner, Bob. Very helpful and friendly. We definitely will return.The room was renovated and clean.
Disliked: Rustic but it all depends on personal preferences. There was only one restaurant nearby but many in the area.

I would go back again...

Liked: The rooms were well appointed and roomy! We had 3 rooms for 6 adults, 2 beds in each room. Each room had a fireplace which added heat and comfort after a long drive. Great big pillows and soft towels. The Lobby is where the food was laid out and was all nice and neat. Eating was in a separate room which I liked. Parking was easy and not crowded. We went May 14, 2025 on a weekday. Still cold and foggy in the AM but truly a magical place.
Disliked: I will return when weather is better and visit Carmel and Monterey then. It was so beautiful to stay in Pacific Grove we did not venture out driving.
