A great getaway spot for...
Liked: We both loved staying here and really appreciated the staff! Everyone was friendly and helpful and they genuinely seemed to care about the guests. Definitely will be coming back.

A quiet, restful stay away...
Liked: It looks like an old style inn and has a friendly atmosphere. The owner usually comes to breakfast and has interesting stories to tell about the area. The breakfast was good and the afternoon wine was an added attraction. The history of some former guests is informative. Overall a pleasant and relaxing stay.
Disliked: Maybe juice at breakfast, but not that important.

A stay that started good...
Liked: The location is nice
Disliked: Stayed there for 2 nights. One of the staff I encountered on the last day just before leaving (I think his name is Robert) was the nastiest person I ever met in my life. During breakfast, there was an unlabeled container, which I naturally opened the lid to see what it was (it was syrup). Immediately this person ran to us saying this is syrup and you shouldn’t lift the lid (agreed if we knew) so I thank him and ask him to put a label or something. This is where the nasty behavior started with him saying loud “I thought that was clear but you’re a GENIUS” followed by a stream of just nasty remarks like “$&@ hole” and “when are you checking out genius?” When I asked where his supervisor is, he ran out of the room talking to his phone saying “call 911” like I would be threatened by this. He then ran outside just standing in front of the building like a statue. I left him be and went on my business. But honestly I have no idea how a person with this behavior got hired in any job let alone in hospitality business. I think a person with this attitude should stay away from any job related to hospitality until they solve their anger issues and social skills.
