Tiny room with poor facilities....

Liked: Comfortable bed but ridiculously small room. Great location for city centre but noisy at night. Good shower but shower stall and hand washbasin adjacent to the bed in the same room!
Disliked: Steep narrow stairs difficult to negotiate with luggage- no lift. Very small room, SHOWER STALL AND WASH BASIN IN THE BEDROOM! Adequate for one night stay but no longer. Very little space for storage- only 2 wire coat hangers. Plumbing very noisy. Poor selection toiletries- only hand and shower gel provided. No tea/coffee making facilities. Tried to contact host prior to arrival via Booking.com. No response- customer care shocking. Very poor value for money - would not recommend

Liked: Well located walking distance from the city center and next to many pubs
Disliked: Noisy area due to proximity to bars. The room that I was given was not well maintained, Broken window, broken sink, shower door doesn’t prevent from water to pour into the room floor, not a good value for money for the size of the room and the amenities you get in my personal opinion.

Liked: It was very central - our window faced the cathedralcvl and the streets below had a good choice of restaurants and bars. The owner was very friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable
Disliked: We were expecting small but there were no places to put anything down. (shelves or cupboard tops), or to hang things (4 hangars, no hooks for wet clothes).The stairs were very steep and winding as in many places in Belgium!

Liked: Extreme central location Next to " the church "Next to great restaurants, bars , mini market and very close to public transport.Bed was comfortable, shower high pressure, hair dryer high speed.Wifi good working .
Disliked: Almost no storage room/ 5 hangers that's it .Nothing to put in your toothbrush...(Even the cheapest places have " some kind of container "...) Complicated check in process !!Reception is only open 8:00-11:00!Other times you should check in via a "link"Seems like booking is blocking the link(?) but also via e Mail or WhatsApp link did not work..So writing a lot of WhatsApp and mails about the' non functioning" link.. finally I got the code 2 hours before check in via WhatsApp ( easy - so what the fuzz with the link??! )Then got the wrong room ..facing the church ..via WhatsAppCall(unfriendly.. complicated ) could change to a quiet room "Room with view " : amazing but really loud' Room without view " not loud( Beware what you book- then not sure if you get right room)A lot of complicate things (safe in the room was closed etc ) because of the limited reception time and complicated link issues ..Wondering what happens if key card is not working at night etc ...

Liked: the hotel is located in a street with many lively bars directly underneath and the bell tower directly opposite.
Disliked: we didnt feel welcome. we felt like an inconvenience in the day of the owner. check-in was complicated and rude.

Great location but VERY noisy!

Liked: The location of the hotel is great—it’s right by a ton of the main places you’ll want to visit. The room was clean & modern, and had really amazing (original?) stained glass windows with brass hardware that looked super old. The shower worked well and there was a private toilet room.
Disliked: The proximity of the hotel to all of the popular sites turned out to be not good. My room, while great, overlooked the street out front—and directly at the side of a giant cathedral with bells they liked to ring for 15 minutes at a time. As it’s Europe, and AC isn’t a thing everywhere, the windows had to be open to cool the room—letting in all of the loud noise from the people walking below, and sitting at the pub patio next door. To be fair, their info book that was on the bed when I arrived pointed out it’s in a high-traffic area and is noisy—and that it isn’t their fault. I thought I’d read the reviews thoroughly before booking—I feel like I didn’t see anything about this—so I’m putting it in this post for anyone who needs quiet / goes to bed early.

Liked: Brilliant location; very small room, with broken hand basin.
Disliked: Room was warm with only the window open, but that allowed a lot of noise from the street. Needed to use a small air conditioner.
