Nice place, good people.

Liked: Location, staff friendliness, close to town and attractions.
Disliked: Beds were in need of an update.

Liked: good location. very quiet. friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: very shabby and rather rundown room. bathroom door for example didn’t fit and couldn’t be fully closed. . no ventilation apart from leaving the front door open. Although a kettle, mugs, tea& powdered coffee and biscuits provided, there were no water glasses. No wifi.

Liked: Location was perfect. very cheap to stay.
Disliked: Rooms very small.Not a double bed more like a three quarter bed.it very dated and all painted green and cramped.Needs brightening up snd some nice pictures.Was OK for the price abd if you don't spend much time in the room.

An adequate stop-over.

Liked: It was a short enjoyable walk up to the square and cathedral. We didn't use them, but plenty of restaurants, pubs, coffee bars etc.As for the room, thankfully it had a fan and an outdoor courtyard to sit in.
Disliked: The room was small, but that was not end of the world. On arrival it smelled- musty at least. We left door open and the fan on to get rid of this, and also because it was a hot evening.Also the wi fi didn't work in the room or in the courtyard, only in the pub to which the room were attached. The landlady said it was erratic.

A great place to visit...

Liked: Great location, and we could leave the car whilst we walked and explored the town and countryside around, without charge in your car park
Disliked: The day was really hot and we couldn't find out how to turn off the bathroom radiator. We asked if it could be turned off later in the evening but it didn't seem fair to get the owner out so late at night. The bathroom door could be closed so it didn't disturb our sleep, but you are wasting money keeping it on when it such a very very hot night already

Only there one night and...

Liked: Location fine. Room fine. Parking available
Disliked: On arrival to be told there would be no dinner and no breakfast!

Disappointed

Liked: Staff were pleasant. Good sized fluffy towels. Clean but in need of some tlc.
Disliked: Very small room. Very dark. Area a bit run down . No food. No wifi in room. Website inaccurate and misleading
