A very nice welcome and...

Liked: The accommodation was a little tired looking but we were on a bicycle tour and it had everything we needed. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. We had two bicycles and they went out of their way to store them safely overnight.
Disliked: The bed base was a bit tatty and state of the room was just a little tired looking.

Needs some improvement but happy

Liked: The courtyard and bar were nice as were the staff
Disliked: Room smelt damp and needs new carpet and a paint job. There was no hot water from sink taps (staff said they had a leak and needed to turn boiler off). Bathroom extractor fan did not work and over sink lightbulb stopped working

Overall would book again but...

Disliked: Wi-Fi signal didn't reach room provided. A competent IT person should be able to fix this ....either/or a signal booster, more central positioning of existing router or more powerful router.Also mattress not great.
