OYO Tamworth Arms Boutique Pub & Hotel

Nice, clean hotel; would recommend to family.

Liked: Bus dropped us right outside; in close walking distance to town centre.
Disliked: Only one coat hanger in room to hang clothes up; cleaners wanting to come in - we were only there for 2 nights. Could have waited 'til we left.

Enjoyable and will return..

Liked: The bed was huge and comfy. Staff very friendly and food was excellent. Walk in shower was nice and powerful too..
Disliked: Staff could have been around a bit more if required and we couldn’t find our way around in the dark late at night from the car park. Cheaper prices are always welcome too.

Worst one I have had...

Disliked: Definitely not a boutique hotel as described. Its rooms joining onto a very busy smokey pub, on a a main road. All rooms are beside the smokers and drinkers so I had no sleep until after midnight. Check in was a busy bar , waiting for bar staff to serve before assisting me. Bed was uncomfortable and sheets stank of bleach giving me a headache . For over £100 it was a disgrace . My unsatisfaction of the room and noise was met with a shoulder shrug and "we can't refund or change room" Please do not go by the reviews as I did. The thin walls and very loud stairwell will have you up all night with every person coming back to their rooms. In hindsight I should have gone with the premier Inn. For one hour I stayed in my car to escape the noise, awful after such a ,long drive and my need to rest.

Super helpful staff, tasty food,...

Liked: The staff couldn't do enough to be helpful, and were very friendly. Excellent, healthy breakfast choices along with a tasty curry in the evening.
Disliked: It was on a main road, next to a busy junction, so road noise could be a problem. As its a pub used by the locals, we were surprised how load the customers were when we arrived at 17:00.
