Great location, very run down...

Liked: The location is great, right on the seafront, just a very tired run down hotel.We bought a drink at the bar to take back to our room which was fine.Couldn't get into the car park but parking on the road was free and there were spaces nearby
Disliked: Our room the lock didn't work, we waited 15 minutes outside the room for someone to come and fix it and then had to move rooms. The hotel is just really run down. We weren't aware lots of work was going on, just looked a mess. The room we moved to was fine, sea view needed the windows cleaning or glass replaced, the beds were the most uncomfortable, both of us woke up with back ache, such a shame such a great location but it looks like it is fit for closure. The lift was scary, we didn't use it again in case we got stuck in there.

A friendly and comfortable stay...

Liked: The location was excellent. The Reception manager was very friendly and welcoming and the bar area leading out to a terrace was lovely. They accepted and were very good with dogs. The Indian Restaurant on the first floor was excellent and the staff very friendly and professional.
Disliked: The property meandered a little and for my elderly father walking through the restaurant to his room was a little awkward

Liked: Location, nearby parking even if the small hotel car park was full. Helpful staff.
Disliked: Doors were a bit noisy It was a little difficult to regulate the shower heat and the water pressure could have been better.
