Liked: Great location in the center. Spacious and clean room. Large bathroom. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: It was cool, especially after a rainy walk. The bathroom is cold. When it rained in the room on the top floor, the ceiling leaked in both the room and the bathroom. The windows are poorly soundproofed, so noise from the street can be heard at night. They talked about breakfast, but it is only available on weekends.

Liked: Hotel and room was very clean. All staff were friendly and engaging. As a solo female traveller, I felt very safe in the hotel.
Disliked: Stairs and no lift, but to be fair, I need the exercise!

Great, independent, value hotel in...

Liked: Really lovely, old fashioned, traditional hotel in the very centre of Cardiff City. The hotel is very good value for money and the staff are exceptionally kind and helpful. I highly recommend staying here and supporting this wonderful, family run business!
Disliked: Honestly, for the money it's exceptional and I have absolutely zero issues that'd be worth bringing up.
