Liked: Staff member tried to help.
Disliked: No parking as advertised and included in our booking confirmation. Very lould music. Arguments at hotel opposite. Till 2am.

Liked: The lady from the reception was great and very helpful.We had a problem with the reservation ,but she sorted out and gave us a better room.The location is right near the beach near the Pier.Restaurants arround and even a Karaoke bar across the street.I am really pleased to review the location as very nice clean and reliable in case of trouble.

Liked: Subject: Complaint Regarding Misleading Information and Poor ExperienceDear [Oyo Peir hotel/Customer Service],I’m writing to express my disappointment with our recent experience at your hotel, which unfortunately caused us to cut short on a very special occasion — my son’s 50th birthday.We were told there was parking available, but on arrival, there was none. We were informed it was “first come, first served,” but there wasn’t a single space in sight. To make matters worse, we were advised that we could park on a double yellow line using a disabled badge they would provide — something we were absolutely not comfortable with, and which could have led to a fine.When I had previously phoned to ask if we could book in early, I was firmly told no. Yet when we arrived, a staff member told us that we could have — clearly, we were given the wrong information. Thankfully, that staff member was helpful, but by then, the situation had already caused unnecessary stress. We were glad we never came earlier The hotel is directly opposite a nightclub, which we were not warned about clients were already falling about. We didn’t expect a 5-star experience, but we did expect honesty and basic amenities like available parking, especially after being told there would be.With nowhere else to stay and every nearby hotel fully booked, my husband had to drive us back to Braintree. Our plans were ruined, and my son — who had no spare room — was left with his birthday cut short.This has been an incredibly disappointing experience, and I feel compelled to warn others to avoid this hotel to prevent similar upset. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and address the issues we've raised. We have asked for a full refund but still haven't received it yet.Sincerely,Eileen Cuthbert
