Very disappointing
Liked: The hotel is right on the seafront with easy beach access. There was on the road parking at the front of the hotel, for which a small charge was made.A kettle with tea and coffee was provided.The bed was reasonable.
Disliked: The hotel is being renovated and it is questionable whether it should be open to paying guests. On entering the property, there are building materials all over reception.There was a lack of hot water in the evenings or mornings. There were trip hazards and building equipment all over the public areas. Wires hanging over and along walls.The shower was somewhat mouldy and the flow of water was intermittent, which did not make for a good shower experience.My booking included a £4 Service charge per night. Quite what this is for I do not know, as no one cleaned our room etc

This hotel is currently not...
Liked: Very little. The room was recently decorated but quite shoddy. The hotel is being renovated and should not be open to paying guests. There was no hot water in the evenings or mornings. There were trip hazards and building equipment all over the public areas. Wires hanging over and along walls.A broken light fitting was hanging low over one of the staircases. There was no electricity when we got back to the hotel at 7pm last night. It didn’t come back on despite the owner/manager telling us it would be back on by 10pm.
Disliked: All of the above. This hotel should not be open to paying guests until the renovations are complete.No hot water, no electricity on our 3rd day or on the morning that we checked out. Totally unacceptable.

It was ok , very...
Liked: The location was ideal
Disliked: It was being renovated while we stayed which we weren’t told , had damp in ceiling , bathroom window had a gap which made room very cold which had to block with a towel and 1 small wall heater to heat room
