An Absolute Gem

Liked: This place is a gem! Everyone treated me like family. The location is great. The full breakfast was delicious! The common rooms are decorated in each of the military services.
Disliked: The bed was a bit lumpy.

Absolutely Marvellous ! I hope...

Liked: Superb staff, cuisine , décor ,ambiance ,situation . Coming from Military families on both sides .and having worked with WW2 Veterans as a MIND social worker in the 80`s ,I just wish I had know of this marvel decades ago. My late father was the Voluntary Navigator for the MTB 102 on her trips to Dunkirk with Blofield & Brundall Sea Scouts. after her restoration.
Disliked: The loan of a USB plug socket would have really helped as I forgot mine .As a listed building , it doesn`t have modern wiring resulting in my error leaving me unable to ring the hotel from my own room or stay in contact with Suffolk Chamber Orchestra members I was there to meet after checking in ? This was an issue that is easily resolved . I did note the shower glass plate bottom swivel point needed a clean .Other than these points all was Above Board and Bristol Fashion & Tickety Boo !

Although the place was quite...

Liked: Excellent position overlooking the sea and promenade
Disliked: The place is rather dilapidated paint coming off the walls. It was a mission loading WiFi, we had to go on another level and crawl on the floor to activate the QR code. The breakfast was just OK although the toaster has to be replaced
