Good value hotel under renovation

Liked: Good Breakfast. Recently renovated rooms. Great value. Helpful staff.
Disliked: The town was a bit run down. Carpet in the landing needed updating and key door locks were fiddly, but the hotel was under renovation so I'm sure these things will be sorted in time.

Not the best area to...

Liked: The staf were exceptionally informative and professionally friendly.
Disliked: We were not informed of the lack of facilities until after we booked. i.e. going through renovation. Breakfast, although highly rated, was at best average.

Liked: Room was very nice. Comfortable bed. Lovely shower room. Breakfast was good
Disliked: Plumbing is noisy. Toilet has a macerator and shower pumps out the water from the tray.

Disliked: Being charged £50 damage deposit, and still awaiting it's return, and they insist it has gone through, something I will be warning all users of.

Exceptional room and breakfast.

Liked: The rooms were beyond my expectation, very clean, spacious, modern and I had a good sleep. And to top it up the staff were exceptional; they are truly the heart of hospitality. Breakfast was great value for money. Well-done to the front of the house team and the elderly woman at breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing really, understandable the hotel is under refurbishment but the rooms and staff, breakfast make up for it.

Superb

Liked: The Hotel is being updated and the room.waa nice. The bed was comfortable and the shower was powerful and hot.
