It was ok

Liked: The room was clean and spacious.
Disliked: My room was located near to the street side - so it was very noisy, otherwise no issues.

Superb

Liked: Good channel selection on large telly. Super help yourself complementary breakfast with:fresh orange juice,toast, jam,cheese marmalade, yoghurt, a pot of tea, and an apple. Giant television with news channel. Full English breakfast and table service from lovely smiling staff.
Disliked: Road works outside didn't help access, but we're completed by the time I egressed.

Liked: The beds were comfortable
Disliked: No room service during the weekend, no extra drying towels , dirty table cloths on tables. The room was hot, I couldn’t sleep well, opened the windows but there was no air coming in as there is scaffold debris netting.

Still good value for money...

Liked: Having stayed here previously it was exactly as expected. There is still renovation work going on so there are things like the carpets in communal areas need replacing. But, while that is still going on, it is not inconvenient and the hotel offers excellent value

Great hotel in a good...

Liked: Central location. Friendly and helpful staff. Good sized rooms and bathrooms. Our rooms were lovely and clean. Comfy, clean beds and good sized bath towels. Loved to decor in the bar area.Cooked breakfast was really nice and there was a good selection of cereals, juices, tea and coffee all served by friendly staff. We were looked after very well.
Disliked: There was nothing to dislike about this property for us. Would love to go back once the renovations are complete and see how it looks without the scaffolding.
