Worse hotel and staff ever...

Liked: Beware of this place ....Worse hotel i ever stayed in in 60 yrs .. manager is a liar and a thieve!!!! Paid for 2 nights in a nasty dirty room .. stayed 1 night and returned following day to find my room had been rented out ..why ?? Because we chose not to leave our personal property in a room that door would not lock inside or outside ..when we got back to our room ..door was still enoperable and would not lock . MANAGER said cause our stuff wasn't left there he thought we left for good .. and then he lied telling me it was for only 1 night until I produced receipt.. and then he got shitty with me and we had to find another hotel that was available.. 3 hotels in the city and a major festival happening.. he should be fired or at least give me back th money for the night he stole from us

Liked: It was convenient to the arena we needed to be at
Disliked: first thing we noticed the hotel was not OYO it was Travel Inn, the grounds wasn't upkept, Hotel key did not work the entire time we was there, every time we left we had to tell the front desk we was leaving and when we came back had to have someone open our door.At 10pm we found out there was an issue with the water, the shower knobs didn't work, then we had only cold water then only hot water, a customer who was renting a room fixed the water so we would have a shower. The maintenance man kept running from one room to another trying to find what rooms had water, the housekeeper AJ was phenomenal she made kept apologizing for the crappy service from the manager. A group of ladies had to call the cops because their room had bedbugs and the manager took their key and wouldn't give them a refund. The stairs to the 2nd floor had a board across it that had wood rot. For 2 days of stay it was not worth $200

Disliked: Everything else. I didn’t stay. I was there for 5 min & left to find somewhere else. It was dirty, the top bolt on the door was busted, the back of the regular lock was gone, an old room key was on the dresser, a cigarette butt was on the bathroom floor beside hair, I was genuinely scared.

Disliked: The room was dirty, and I have been given the runaround about getting my full refund. We left within 10 minutes of arrival and did not return to that hotel. We found lodging somewhere else.

Liked: The owners were very nice and super helpful. We had nice conversation and he made us feel very welcomed.
Disliked: I really hate to even put this on here because the owners were so very nice and we really like them a lot.The beds were dirty when we pull down the sheets there was dirt and hair on the pillow cases, makeup on the pillow cases, dirt and sand under the top sheet on the fitted sheet, you could tell they had not been changed, dirty washcloths and roaches everywhere , sink had hair in it where it looked like someone shaved.My husband went straight to the office and talked to the owners and the owners were very apologetic and very upset that the room was in this condition. He stated that he made sure to ask the cleaning staff if the room was ready because we reserved it and was coming a long way and they said it was. He even showed my husband the messages between them. He called her right away and told her she needs to get to our room and make it right. Cleaning lady and one other female came in like they were very upset and mad because he had gotten on to them. Saying, show me where this room is dirty show me very rude like so I showed them, she said oh no I assure you this is clean I said I assure you it is not clean and continued to pull the sheets down and show them the hair and dirt that was underneath the sheets and on the pillow cases she then said oh you are right this is not clean give me a few minutes and we'll make it right. They brought us clean sheets and pillow cases and also clean towels and washcloths. I'm not sure the same cleaning people are there or not but she asked us to make sure if we needed anything else or we found anything that wasn't right to let her know and told us what room she was going to be in that night.We were traveling for a surprise birthday party and if there was any way possible we could have stayed somewhere else we would have but there was nothing else there . We did not sleep hardly at all because it was so nasty and could not get over it and the roaches.There was a man at the road yelling for hours.
