Could have been better

Liked: Great location and front door staff
Disliked: They didn't cleaned our room and didn't replaced the towels. They put us on an area being refurbished, do everything has dust

Comfortable, well-located but needs improvement.

Liked: Very well-located hotel, the area is great (a 10-minute walk from Victoria Station). The staff is equally very friendly and attentive. Check-in was quick and went smoothly, as did the check-out. Regarding the room: small but comfortable; the bed and pillows were very comfortable; bathroom renovated and sanitized.
Disliked: Unfortunately, I stayed in the basement. I didn't sleep well any of the days and also rested little due to the noise next to the room: it was the breakfast room, the room was literally next to that room, so you could hear the sound of children, dishes, passage area. I was forced to buy earplugs. It was very disturbing, but the stay was short. I also noticed that the room price went down on the day I checked in. I hope to return, but I will request explicitly to stay in another room.

Liked: It was clean , great value for money in a great location. Staff mostly showed great attention to detail and any needs raised were dealt with ASAP.
Disliked: The lift was a bit smelly and frankly grotty. On arrival, I was told I needed I.D.i. said I don't carry my passport when in England, I.e. at home, and all I had were credit and debit cards and my coach card. She said she still needed I D .so I said I have booked and paid for a 2 night stay, so what were they doing about it ? She said she would let it go this time. I have seen other places that say bring photo I d. I have, and it's not been looked at . There is nothing on my paperwork as far as I can see, so this needs making clear beforehand if it's required.

Liked: The staff were really friendly and accommodating, and understanding with my autistic daughter and flexible with checking out time because of personal circumstances at the time.

Bad room, good location

Liked: Location was OK, near Victoria Station, calm neighborhood.
Disliked: Very small room; very small toilet; unfriendly staff; the room was very cold, we had to sleep with pullovers, small blankets. Never again.
