Disliked: My stay was cancelled by the hotel and I did not know until I arrived at reception. Had to scramble to find somewhere else during graduation week. Whilst trying to find somewhere else in reception, guests complained of a smell in their room and another of people running up and down the corridor at 3am. So perhaps I escaped. Appreciate that a refund was made.

Glad we were only staying...
Disliked: Felt dirty. Hair in bathroom floor and in the drain. Not possible to open window. Did not feel comfortable using the shower. 50% of the headboard was loose. Could hear the neighbours.

Good location but very tired...
Liked: Location is good.Bedding and towels were clean.
Disliked: Dated furnishing , scruffy carpets, smelled of cigarettes in room. Window cracked and difficult to open.Around shower mouldy.

Extremely dissapointing.
Disliked: Good morning, regarding my recent booking via Booking.com (Confirmation 5321931361) at the Brentwood Hotel, Aberdeen, Scotland from 19 - 22 July. My wife and I stayed for one night of our three-night booking because the hotel was not as advertised by Booking.com. On its website, your photographs show a clean, modern hotel with good recommendations. The hotel was not as described in your promotional photographs and description. Below is a list of my grievances: Room was much too small and in no way compared to the promotional photographs, nor did the bathroom. Carpet in the room was dirty as were the carpets throughout the ground floor of the hotel. The shower flow was just a trickle and ran only cold. The inside of the drawers were dirty and stained. The room had a small double-glazed window outside of which was a filthy mess. Your client's comments expressed satisfaction from people who had recently stayed. This morning, I checked out Tripadvisor. Its clients' comments were one hundred percent different from Booking.com. After staying at the Brentwood, I totally agree with Trip Advisors clients. In fact, there is some dishonesty here, due to there being such a large discrepancy of opinions between your own and Trip Advisor´s clients.I am writng to request a refund for the two nights we didn´t use. If I don´t receive a refund within the next three days, I shall write directly to Ritesh Agarwal and inform him of the dishonesty that is taking place between his hotel and its selling agent. Your management have deliberately sent outdated promotional photographs to Booking.com knowing that they do not tell the truth. I shall also request Mr Agarwal to checks out the comments on Tripadvisor.Regards,Mr D. Ainscough
