Liked: The staff that checked me in was sweet. The staff that checked me out was nice.
Disliked: Everything guys.Firstly this was NOT a £70 room.The communal areas are old and outdated.The lifts were out if order so I had to walk to the 3rd floor.Every toilet I passed in communal areas were out of order..My room:The wifi didnt work.The tv worked but with reduced channels and no Netflix, as the wifi didnt workThe door was damaged on the inside.The carpets were sticky with spilt stuff on it - I had to keep my shoes on when something left residue on my foot....Theres tea/coffee and a kettle provided in the room - the kettle had stagnant water in it and was brown inside, the cups left, one looked like it was already used, I had to wash the other cup regardless just incase..The walls are all covered in stuff other than paint, the walls are damaged, and there looked like blood on one.. really grubby feeling.The window was open and there was condensation on the inside which probably contributed to the grubby feeling.BathroomToilet had a brown streak mark in itThe bath had stuff stuck in itThe door had no lock and was damaged on the bottom.Just look at the photos as evidence, I literally took a video of everything because I didnt want to be accused of causing damage to anything..The bed "looked" cleanWas uncomfortable.Noise: because the windows were open, (I didnt want to touch them) there were alot of loud noises right through the night.When people came onto my floor, the communal doors slammed shut loudly every time they were opened.Walls are paper thin, I could hear either my neighbours or the people under me really clearly..End of the day, your a HOTEL, not a hostel.. some hostels are cleaner than this space.If your refurbishing the place, the close down and get it done.Honestly, I feel I should get a partial refund of 50%.the guy checking me out on me leaving asked how I was in was, I said I didnt sleep, but I was that tired I didnt want to get into it with him as he did ask why, I just wanted to get out asap
