OYO Central Hotel Golders Green

Really pleased, super cost effective...

Liked: Very cost effective and easy to fine and check in. Lots of little shops about and quiet. The man on reception was very polite and helpful. Perfect place to stay if you are out all day and just want to a bed for a night or two.
Disliked: Unfortunately under the bed was very dirty and the walls were mouldy, we moved the set of draws next the bed to get to the plug and the floor was covered in sticky residue. The sheets and pillows were very clean which is all we really cared about as was only staying there for the night.

Disliked: When entering the building there were wet patches and ant powder on the carpets ,the hallways were littered with dirt and rubbish. Upon entering the room we were shocked to find food on the carpets ,clumps of hair ,piles of dust in the corners of the room and the majority of surfaces.there was soo much dirt on the carpets it was unbelievable, the highlight of the floor situation was a shard of mirror sitting on the floor! This room was atrocious and I would like to say untouched by housekeeping but it wasn't, it was all ignored.we had a paper coffee cup on the side without and sort of lid on with some sort of florescent yellow cleaning solution in.there we handprints littering all mirrored surfaces, stains on the walls and bedding alongside the smoke detector being covered with a bag and hair bobble.we had to check in and check out immediately. I sadly only have a few photos as a video felt more appropriate.

Disliked: Everything in the hotel is old and badly maintained. The hotel is in desperate need of a huge renovation.
