Comfortable beds, unclean, unpleasant experience.

Liked: The beds were comfortable and one of the staff members helped me find my room when I was lost - he was great. On street parking is available 23 hours a day and there is a free car park attached.Property is about 8 minutes walk from Golders Green underground station.
Disliked: The most unclean place I have ever stayed. I was given a room in the annex, which had a terrible smell from the moment I opened the outside door - probably damp and mould.The bedroom had mould down the side of the bed. There was hair in the shower and an old take-out carton hidden in the drawer. The sink was dirty.On arrival there were four staff - only one of whom really spoke a high level of English - on reception. After being given my keys I came back a second time a few minutes later to clarify directions to my room, and having stood in the middle of the group to ask this, three of the four burst out laughing - seemingly at an inside joke. I felt really uncomfortable. One of the guys helped me find it which was great.The code for the WiFi wasn’t in the room and there wasn’t a phone to ask reception. I would have had to walk back to reception to ask and I wasn’t comfortable doing so.Trying to check out at about 10am, there was no one monitoring reception or answering the outside doorbell, so I had to ring a mobile number. It still took a number of minutes before anyone came and when she did, she was grumpy and looked as if she had just woken up.Cheap - but there are places just as cheap in Golders Green and much preferable. I wouldn’t stay here again.
