An abomination. A complete disaster...

Disliked: This was without any doubt one of the worst experiences I have ever had in the UK. It was particularly bad because it is so close to Bath and our expectations were quite high. The whole experience was a disappointment. A disaster is probably a better description. No communication whatsoever other than an automated messaging system. We could not contact the concierge despite trying every form of media. He or she was incognito. No parking when we arrived. We had to park on a busy road. No towels in the room whatsoever. The accommodation itself was terrible. The paint was peeling off the walls and ceiling in the bathroom. The bathroom itself was damp, and in very poor condition with mould and mildew in the shower cubicle. The wallpaper was hanging off the wall in the bedroom. The bedding smelled like mothballs and one of the beds was literally falling apart. This is not the standard of accommodation I have become accustomed to in the UK. Quite frankly it was an abomination. I was totally embarrassed because I was travelling with my 17 year old daughter who was shocked at the state of the room. I do not recommend this accommodation to anyone. The place needs a complete renovation. We couldn’t wait to leave.

Liked: Location was good, just outside of Bath.
Disliked: The condition of room was very poor: cracks in the windows, damaged chairs and sofa, loose tap in the bathroom, rotten wooden planks, stained carpet.
