Pleasant

Liked: Room was comfortable, I had a lovely sleep there (fresh clean bed). It was in a good state of decoration. They did the good bit of customer service with me, of upgrading me to a double room.
Disliked: No hot water one morning, even though it was quickly fixed. Do always keep in mind that this hotel is a budget option. I also found it difficult to find my way round the hotel (to and from reception and my room) at first.

Liked: Room and bathroom was very clean, really good location in terms of travel - was very easy to get to the venue we were going to for a gig. Really good for a one night stay
Disliked: Bedsheets had a couple of stains but not too noticeable

Liked: Friendly staff, not the best in terms of facilities but good enough for the price. Walking distance (±10mins) to the beach, and lots of food and cafe options around Hove. Room was spacious, we got towels but not body soap/shampoo.
Disliked: Not bad for the price

Disappointing

Liked: The first single room was terrible so they put me in a nice double room instead. The location is great, more towards Hove. Had a bath and all the necessary.
Disliked: I found the staff to be polite, but being on the second floor meant hauling my luggage up the stairs, and there was no porter, although I think a staff member did sort of offer to carry my luggage.If the elevator worked it would have revolutionised my stay. If they used all their profit to do just ONE THING. FIX THE ELEVATOR, they would fill up that hotel with guests on the same day.That's just a little marketing tip. There is no dining room but hey a small snack machine would have been thoughtful, and you could even make some money hiring the space.I mean look running a hotel is not rocket science you know.

Basic but clean

Liked: For a Friday night stay in Hove this fit the bill perfectly.Not perfect but the room was clean and was decent. , which was all I wanted.The neighbouring room was noisy but that's not the hotel's fault.One slightly comical incident was that when I was leaving the next morning the entire door handle came off in my hand so couldn't get out!!!I had to ring reception and get them to open the door from the other side!!The staff were very apologetic at this and were helpful beforehand.Would definitely return if I required a cheap stay.
Disliked: The door handle not falling off!!!
