Oxford Palace Hotel

Great location. Walking distance from venue. Great rates. If you're OK with a little older place but still very classy this works. Staff very professional and nice. Enjoyed the whole experience.

Disliked: Ventilation of the hotel. Hallways were super muggy and hot. Elevator dirty and stunk. Vent in rooms not cleaned out so -A/c blows unclean air

Liked: the staffs are so friendly. my room's AC and Fridge are not cold enough and I request to check. then they figured out there was a technical problem. Then they helped to change the another working room, thanks.
Disliked: friendly staff and full fill my requirement.

Great value and central location

Liked: I enjoyed my stay here and will stay here whenever I'm LA. The room was large and clean. The bed was comfy, and the shower had a lot of pressure. You get a free self parking spot with your room and the hotel is very centrally located. With the AC on in the room, I could not hear other guests or traffic on 8th.
Disliked: The desk light in my room didn't work, but there was plenty of other lighting available, so no problem. There was a stain on the carpet but frankly, I neither sit not sleep on the carpet and therefore didn't mind. The hotel is a bit dated but fantastic bang for your buck. Highly recommended.

Superb

Liked: I always enjoy staying at this hotel and I pick here whenever I come to LA. They are great about early checkin and the place is quiet and clean. Plus it's within walking distance to the venues I travel to, plenty of great food and the public transit is right down the street. Staff is helpful but never overbearing and I really enjoy just being able to stay in a convenient location and doing my own thing- this hotel is perfect for that.

Decent hotel

Liked: Friendly service, great location. Our room was big for the price. Decor was fine. Bed was comfortable. TV worked. Shower was fine. Strong air conditioning. Loved the cafe on the second floor! Korean and Western food options with an extensive menu and very friendly service. Great new Korean supermarket just across the street, with a coffee/bakery place as well. We were glad the room had a refrigerator. Free guest parking!!!
Disliked: Our internet went out halfway through our stay and never came back up. That might have been a citywide thing, I don't know. There weren't a lot of cups for coffee and drinking water, and not enough coffee creamer for the 2 people in our room.

Poor

Liked: Hot water in shower and big car park area.
Disliked: Old hotel, everything was bad condition, very bad smell in hotel, coridor and room. The hotel was dirty and not a good location.
