Liked: A unique rural & quite unusual 'Hotel' - It is not what I would call boutique but it is very comfortable with many historical features in the common areas and the room that we were in was great. The evening meal was prepared by the owner (4th generation in the family I believe) & was excellent & not expensive. Breakfast was perfect and again prepared by the owner. The grounds are wonderful and perfect for an afternoon or evening stroll & I understand the owner also runs an Equine centre adjacent so Horsey folks are well catered for.

Liked: It's a shame I only stayed one night as Overtown Manor is such a lovely house in an ideal location. Not only that, Nancy is such a wonderful host with many suggestions for what to do in the area.Best of all, the beds are really comfortable, if any place is to be let down it is because of this. I had a wonderful night's sleep.
