Fabulous location.

Liked: Location is excellent. Right in centre of Waikiki. ABC stores everywhere, beach virtually across the road. Wouldn't find a better location right in Waikiki. Rooms are nice although amenities are basic. Restaurants are everywhere and so much choice, although expensive. Staff pleasant and housekeeping lovely although some days hit and miss.
Disliked: Pool area is small for size of the hotel. We didnt have a kettle (had a coffee machine) but asked Housekeeping and they brought one up. Amenities are basic.

There are better hotels on...

Liked: Location is good.
Disliked: Hotel is loud. We booked 1 night only to have a room for a few hours 1pm-7pm as we were travelling long distance. There was a power cut during our stay so we ended up not charging our electronics and only using the room to have a shower. Reception staff is slow, you'll have to wait an eternity to get your turn. In fact we just put the card in the box and went straight to the airport without having the time to complain.

Liked: Nice views. Convenient. Room was comfortable and clean. Cafe is awesome.
Disliked: Couldn’t see the Friday fireworks from our room/balcony unfortunately. Parking can be a challenge but once we got into valet it was very smooth.

Liked: It was pretty near to beach - about 5 mins walk.It was on main road yet not noisy.The room was good and the toilet. However breakfast was only for 2 people ( though we were family of 4)
Disliked: breakfast was only for 2 people ( though we were family of 4) which I still can not understand why.Booking.com does not specify that.

Liked: The location was good - right next to the International Market, and the housekeeping staff was great.
Disliked: We checked in on a Thursday, the people in room next to ours had 4 kids that just screamed. The answer was to move US. Then, on Saturday the hotel lost power for hours - no running water for a longer period of time. Plus they charge you a resort fee, but the closed the pool after 2:00 pm two of the days for private events - no warning or advanced notice. They simply didn’t care. A manager waived the resort fee for the two days after I said something…. But the they have refunded the nightly stay when we had no power or water for several hours.
