Good location and beautiful property...

Liked: Grounds were beautiful and staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
Disliked: Bedrooms are very dated, would say standard bedrooms are very ibis level.

Good for overnight stay

Liked: Lovely sized room with all you needed for overnight stay. Breakfast excellent.
Disliked: Drinks expensive. Long walk to the room.

Liked: Good gym and overall very nice property. Staff were great too.
Disliked: Bed was uncomfortable and could feel the springs and was unfortunately quite a dated room with very small TV.

No control over drunken funeral...

Liked: Location very peaceful most of the time!
Disliked: Funeral party I initially taking over orangery seats one drunken man playing the piano like a five year old, then took over the champagne bar, many got progressively drunk and extensive use of the f word. We left bar as did all remaining guests. Funeral party unruly and continued to be served drinks even though drunk, contrary to licensing laws. No management interventions, stayed in our room rest of night. Totally spoilt our stay and relaxation as full time carers. first break away in 4 years disappointed us.
