My stay there was very...

Disliked: I didn't like sleeping with men in the same room. Also please consider age during bed allocation. It was very hard for me at my age to climb on top of bed. But down beds were vacant.

Cheap option for a short...

Liked: Staff were super friendly and helpful, giving you a tour of the hostel when checking in. I didn't use the kitchen area, but it looked well equipped from what I saw and had free tea/coffee. Only a short walk from lots of food options and markets etc. I only stayed x1 night, so it was fine for what I needed.
Disliked: - The pillow was awful, so flat and hard I ended up sleeping on my blanket - Only x2 bathrooms on each floor, which had the shower and toilet combined, so you generally have to wait- The location feels like it's in government housing, not scary or unsafe as an experienced traveller, but very sad to see how bad the homelessness is in Ottawa
