OK for a short stay...

Liked: Well located in the city centre. Handy for bars and restaurants, plus all the city shops.
Disliked: Bit old fashioned and quite a lot of road noise from passing trucks. Staff were OK but not very engaging.

Disliked: First room was close to door where people come close it asked to be moved to quiter room. They were very helpful and showed me choice of 2 quiter rooms

Liked: Great location, we loved the overall style, the multiple eating areas, restaurant staff were delightful, the room was excellent in every way, bed was incredible, off street parking was a bonus
Disliked: Appalling check-in experience, we felt like a total inconvenience and interruption to the gentleman’s very busy day, we were hastily shown to our room and that took less than 3 minutes by a gentleman that spoke so quickly that we barely understood what he was saying, I was convinced he was needed elsewhere, possibly to save all mankind! We chose to eat elsewhere that evening however we did enjoy a lovely breakfast the following morning. All other staff were lovely! We’d be 50/50 about returning as there are so many delightful options available in Ballarat. First impressions are really so important.However we would return to the restaurant
