Liked: Location is perfect the sea view is stunning
Disliked: Nothing

We had a nice weekend...

Liked: We were staying in one of the junior suites and our room was spacious and clean. We had a lovely view of the sea. Didn’t use a lot of the hotel’s facilities as we were there only for two nights. The staff were polite, especially at the reception.
Disliked: No disabled access to the hotel. We had to carry my son’s pram the stairs every time we enter/exit the hotel. It was too hot in our room during the day even with the heating switch off. Breakfast was average.

Amazing Hotel

Liked: The property is amazing and, if there's any better location in the Torquay area, I can't imagine where or how. If you're offered an upgrade to a sea view room, whatever you do, take it. For £60, we were upgraded to a massive suite with four huge windows looking over the truly magnificent bay... in all the places I've stayed, I have never experienced a better view. To sum up the staff... I brought a takeaway back late one evening and sheepishly went to see if I could beg a couple of spoons. The chap on reception jumped up immediately and offered plates and anything else we might need... a fine example of service and attention to detail. Great stuff!
Disliked: Noting we visited off season, there were a few instances of peeling wallpaper and the odd crack in the walls here and there. But it's an old and beautfiul edifice whose maintenance schedule is doubtless similar to that of painting the Forth Bridge... so I suggest forgiving The Osborne its occasional imperfection and instead loving its magnificence in all its glory.

A wonderful few days. Great...

Liked: Loved the location of the hotel. Food was great. Only downside was size of room, however facilities decor and view were all still fine. Room size was not an issue for us.
Disliked: Room size was very small.
