Orsett Hall

Pleasant hotel.

Liked: Staff were very friendly. Beautiful hotel and grounds.
Disliked: Breakfasts was 7-9.30am. They starting removing everything at 9.30 , so no coffee or Danish after breakfast. If you had arrived 9.20 - it was tough.!!. Nothing anywhere to say that.

Second time staying here and...

Liked: The location
Disliked: The bed was uncomfortable, and there were noisy children in the rooms adjacent

Liked: It's a nice location, clean, staff were nice
Disliked: The first room I was in was super noisy. The staff kindly move me to another room which was quieter but there was still a low lying humming sound all nice, and I assume someone would turn on the water in another room which made a god almighty tump which woke me through out the nice

Liked: The hotel is very nice with very friendly staff, great food and well presented rooms. The price i paid was very reasonably priced for a hotel of this standard.
Disliked: Couldn't fault a thing.

Liked: Beautiful property, great rooms, comfortable bed, good facilities and positioned close to lakeside and southend

Liked: Nice location, big room
Disliked: Room was hot due to the weather, air-con controller in wall does nothing, loks like air-con unit has been removed from the room

Passable

Liked: Staff at night check in, very helpful and polite.
Disliked: Room walls are too thin. I could hear the room next to me alarm go off in the morning and continuous coughing. Also when got into bed there was a huge hair on the bed sheet.
