Great friendly family hotel with...

Liked: The location is lovely, just a short stroll from the ferry. Lovely garden with good views. Room was very modern with everything I could want and a super comfy bed.The bar served a great meal and the staff were very helpful.Breakfast was lovely and plentiful with lots of cooked options plus fruit cereals etc
Disliked: It was slightly warm in my room, but that's because it's south facing and I stayed on probably the hottest day of the year... Being south facing would be an advantage on the other 364 days!

Liked: Room was modern fresh and very clean
Disliked: The grounds are very overgrown and in need of a gardener. The entrance and bar area badly in need of a cleaning company going in. We get the vibe they are aiming for but so far off the mark with this they need professional advice.

Liked: I liked the fact it was a lovely old period property and the dining room was gorgeous with amazing breakfasts
Disliked: The extractor fan noise from the kitchens as my room was at the side

Liked: I loved the old original house not been changed or modernised . In a perfect quiet location only 5 mins walk to the seafront.
Disliked: The kitchen door had an hole in it and the bar smelt very strong of smoke and a fusty smell.
