Liked: I liked the large space (1 king, 1 set of bunkbeds, two full baths and a half bath), decor, and location (felt safe). The check-in process was quick and easy as well, and parking was free plus near the back door.
Disliked: Unfortunately, this first-time visit to an Origin didn't meet my expectations for several reasons even though the hotel seemed to be very new. One issue was cleanliness because there was a crusty, used washcloth balancing on the shampoo/soap dispensers in the main bathroom shower as well as a torn piece of wrapper and a couple of hairs on a chair when we arrived. Another was safety/quality because the bunkbed had a rickety ladder that felt unsafe to the young adult using it and a remote control for the TV in the main bedroom was missing. Last, but not least, the fire alarm went off at 5:45 a.m., so with the adrenaline pumping, I wasn't able to get back to sleep and get the sleep needed for the day ahead. When I called the front desk to ask if the alarm had been a false alarm, the person who answered said she had just gotten a text from the maintenance person and that it was a false alarm. She said, "Sorry about that" and chuckled a bit. Not funny. Maybe have a policy where if the fire alarm goes off and it's a false alarm, all currently registered guests get a text soon afterward with a message to reassure them that it was a false alarm.

Disliked: There was a dog toy along the bed so not sure how well the room was cleaned/vacuumed.The sink water pressure wasn’t great & style of sink didn’t drain well. Shower pressure was great.
