A good location but needs...
Liked: The location to get to Wimbledon and near to local services such as food, bus, train, etc.
Disliked: The property needs updating, the floors are very uneven and the bathroom was very spongy. Our velux window did not close so we were kept away by the wind and rain the first night plus a lot of road noise. Despite being assured it would be sorted for our second night, it was not and no offer to move rooms?

Good location for the train...
Liked: The room was large with 3 beds and the shower was good
Disliked: The room was really hot. There was no air conditioning and no fans available. It wasn’t on a par with other Best Western Hotels. No bar, restaurant or lounge. There was a pub next door but we didn’t go there.

Adequate
Liked: The bed was comfortable and the grab-and-go breakfast was sufficient. It was conveniently situated for our trip to Wimbledon the following day., though I wouldn't stay again.
Disliked: The building is very tired - it looks like a nursing home from the outside - and needs desperately updating. The carpets are old and shabby, and our bathroom although clean was very dated and had a shower CURTAIN, rather than a screen. I haven't seen a shower curtain in a hotel for years! It wasn't mouldy, but am very surprised that Best Western owns this - it needs a lot of money spending on it!
