Enjoyed the stay and wouldn't...

Liked: The room was nice and spacious. Had a nice quiet stay while there.The hot water came quickly which is quite rare in hotels. Purified water (shared dispenser) was also provided, which was a pleasant surprise (and also delicious).The furniture/room/lobby were nicely refurbished, and I could only tell that the hotel has been around based on the elevator design.The hotel was also very convenient (near Montgomery station, walkable to Powell/Union Square, Embarcadero), and right before the steep hills (Chinatown).

Would certainly stay here again.

Liked: As a former resident of the city, it’s a great location. Hotel was very clean, the room very comfortable and quiet, good space for two guests. Staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Liked: Nice room in a good location with friendly helpful staff
Disliked: Room faced adjacent offices which meant curtains had to be kept closed for privacy.
