This hotel is prime canidate for Hotel Impossible. Owners have not invested a dime into this property. Elevator, TV and refrigerator did not work. No extension cords in room to power things. Lightbulbs were missing. No tissue.
Liked: Nice desk clerk and shuttle driver.
Disliked: Bad hotel.

Awesome stay before a flight!
Liked: I stayed overnight with our toddler before our flight out of Kansas City and we had a wonderful time! We enjoyed the pool and hot tub, as well as the courtyard outside. We ordered food from the on-site restaurant and enjoyed it in our room. Our son is 3 and still talking about the breadsticks weeks later! The staff was very helpful, especially during the morning when I had to get our bags, stroller and carseat onto the shuttle while simultaneously keeping an eye on our little guy.
Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: I didn't need a location by the airport, but the price was excellent and so were the reviews. And , it was RIGHT off the highway. I was not disappointed. The facility was very clean, quiet, and well staffed, it smelled great, and the breakfast was very good. Eggs , sausage, toast and bagels and other choices, juice, etc. The beds and pillows were excellent and comfortable. I slept very well.
Disliked: I thought it would be loud, being near the airport, but it was not at all! They must have done some really good soundproofing.

Grateful to have a place...
Liked: That I had someplace to safely store my things.Some of the staff were kind and didn’t act less kind when I pointed out issues.The balcony.The pool spa.Fridge, coffee maker, tv channel selection.The manager did call me after my second request.She didn’t offer anything for the issues I had.I asked for a later check out, 2pm which she granted.
Disliked: The smell in the hallway carpet.The smell in the room carpet.Woke up several times coughing.My room carpet was ever so slightly damp.A second room was offered and the cleaning chemicals were stronger in that room.I opened the balcony and the room door to air things out.When I asked for the manager to contact me about the room, the first time, I’m not aware that an attempt was made.A worker had left dirt on the floor and in the bathroom toilet and sink,The receptionist came and cleaned most of that up.I put the trash out by the door, it was collected after 2 days.When I asked about some compensation for my experience, some of the staff acted as if they didn’t know what to do and some were less hospitable. The thing that turned me off was as I was getting ready to check out,I went to get a cart. When I got back to the room, my key no longer worked.A person with a cleaning cart was at my door.When I asked her if she would let me in to get my bags, she would not.I asked if she could speak to her manager, and she said no, repeatedly,So, I went back downstairs to get a new key.I felt I had been discreet about the various issues, I had shared my observations,Rather than appreciating my approach, I felt not very appreciated when staff could have easily been more hospitable. I say this as a former customer service agent.
