Highly recommend staying here

Liked: The staff were brilliant, the room spotless and the best stocked fridge we have seen. The facilities in the room were perfect with some very nice touches.

Horrible experience

Liked: Close to the station
Disliked: I was booked into a room with a broken toilet, then left being harassed by drunks while the staff tried to ignore me and the issue. Spent the night listening to the toilet flush itself every 7 minutes. No decaf options and endless stairs so if you’re tired or have a heavy bag or bad knees this isn’t the hotel for you. Staff really didn’t provide an appropriate response to the issue and I was extremely disappointed from start to finish

I wouldn’t stay there again

Liked: It was quiet considering it is above a pub.
Disliked: Sheets were dirty, appliances in the bathroom were broken.

Classy rooms above a busy...

Liked: Great location opposite the station. Stunning premium room with lovely decor, roll-top bath and huge comfy bed. Mini-bar well stocked with drinks and snacks for a nightcap. Very quiet up on the top floor. Good breakfast and lunch in bar. Very helpful reception staff.
Disliked: A few defects in the room that needed to be flagged up - loose loo seat and leaky shower tray. Staff at breakfast not very on the ball - slow to take order and missing glasses and cutlery on buffet. Top floor is accessed by many stairs and would not suit anyone with mobility issues.

Very good

Liked: The staff were excellent, polite and friendly. Really tried to make our stay enjoyable. The location was good as we visited Kew Gardens, which was within easy reach. We also had a lovely evening meal on the premises.
Disliked: Whilst essential, the air conditioning in the room was a bit noisy. Also unfortunately the external condensing units were on a flat roof directly outside our room window and they were also noisy in the night. Also the building could do with a refurbishment as the decor is looking tired.
