Perfect place for business or...

Liked: Room was beautiful and spacious bed very comfy and quiet no noise at all either from outside or other guests rooms (usually you hear lots of door banging) the complimentary continental breakfast was a lovely surprise. I had my evening meal which was exceptional as I usually find currey sauce with fish and chips a northern thing :) your staff were all very polite and helpful. thanks

Liked: Room was lovely and spacious and the location was perfect, close to the station and the high street with lots of places to eat. Also close by to the river which was perfect for walks.

Liked: We really enjoyed the location. The staff were all excellent with a real warm friendly welcome and style.Fresh milk left in the mini bar fridge was a nice touch for a morning cuppa.We had three meals there which were all tasty, well presented and value for money.The pub had a friendly atmosphere with a mixture of locals and visitors.
Disliked: The bedrooms (we stayed in two different ones over our three night stay) were a little tired and will benefit from a freshen up.

Disliked: Built up dirt in the corners of the window ledges. And the shower tray leaks, could do with some new sealant.
