We would not recommend this...
Liked: Comfortable Bed, quite, Breakfast
Disliked: Fitness is very old and dark, very basic, Bathroom smells and could be generally better

A very pleasant stay.
Liked: Great location. Comfy room and bed with lovely views from 319. Lovely turn down service. Water at bedside every night. Delicious breakfast. HelpfulStaff at the front desk. Beautiful old building.
Disliked: No restaurant on premises on Sunday night. No covered outside terrace with service to enjoy the view and the passing activity. No bell hop at the door to assist with luggage upon arrival and we had a lot after coming off a two week cruise!

Nice location but poor quality...
Liked: The breakfast was very good and the ingredients were very fresh.
Disliked: The fan was very poor and the room had poor soundproofing. The road behind was noisy . Not really a 5 star hotel especially for the price.

Would return.
Liked: Room is large and luxurious. Breakfast was bountiful, can order a la carte or have buffet. Location is very central. Bar area is very classy.
Disliked: A bit on the expensive side.

DISAPPOINTING
Liked: Nothing absolutely waste of money
Disliked: Extremely disappointing stay — avoid unless serious changes are made.This was one of the worst hotel experiences i have had.There were no phones in the room, and no air conditioning, making the room uncomfortably hot at night. There was loud noise from surrounding bars, we had to sleep with windows open since ac was not working which only worsened the situation.The concierge service was appalling-they failed to book a rental car as promised, then cancelled at the last minute, costing us $200 in wasted expenses which they refused to refund .They also misinformed us about excursion availability, telling us things were sold out when we were able to book them ourselves online at the same time.Staff members Aspen and Gabriel from concierge were particularly unhelpful and unresponsive. Even when I raised my concerns at checkout, they seemed completely uninterested and made no effort to resolve the issues.Overall, the lack of professionalism, communication, and basic hospitality standards was shocking. This property is not worth the money and I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere unless the management takes serious steps to improve.

Best location to visit Bergen
Liked: Nice location close to the port and all restaurants, old building very well renovated, comfortable rooms
Disliked: “Nice view” promised was a view on the roof, very noisy street not isolated even window closed, basic level of service. Expensive valet parking.

Amazing location and staff
Liked: The room and staff were so attentive, friendly and accommodating. Often how a hotel response to issues in the difference between a good and bad experience. Our suite’s windows were left open before we checked in which required the staff to move us into another room for the evening. They were great, and easily got us back into the suite we originally booked the next day.
Disliked: Nothing comes to mind
