Liked: Clean, friendly staff, beautiful views of the ocean, easy beach access, valet, big showers and enjoyable outdoor offerings.
Disliked: Uncomfortable bed, masks required in the lobby, not sharing the elevator with others not of your party (we were all just stuffed into an airplane tighter than the elevator), spa closed to services, rentals not available.

We just could not get...
Liked: It is a very pretty property with a lovely view of the beach, gulf and the rest of Clearwater Beach from all rooms. The front desk personnel were kind, professional and helpful. The room has plenty of seating and the porch is a plus. The room looks very much like most of the rooms we have stayed in over the years. The bed was comfortable.
Disliked: We were quite disappointed in a few things so we cut our trip short. The room was not clean. Although the shower and floors did look clean, almost all of the surfaces had spills, lumps or marks that dirtied the 3 clorox wipes used for insurance. The sliding bathroom door hand holds were very dirty. There is some type of perfume scent being pumped out by the fan in the bathroom that was way too strong and bothersome and the coffee machine where the pod is placed looked like it had not been cleaned in some time so we avoided it. With the covid steps in place, it was a little hard to look up what the hotel had to offer. The blackened fish tacos at the Sandbar had no flavor. We were surprised about how much road/traffic noise we heard in the room with the slider closed. I have seen other similar complaints from other properties so I think it is more an issue of the canyon effect created by so many big properties. Also, please remember that the price you see listed on Booking.com does not include the $25 parking/day and all the taxes/resort fees so that will be another $100 per day and they do charge $100 in incidentals each day as well. If you do not spend that, it will come off.. but resort prices. You can expect lunch to be about $80.00 for two lunch items and two drinks total.
