It was a great family...
Liked: The property was great for both adults and families. Location was perfect, food was great. There’s nothing not to like.

Disliked: We do not like that they only offer Valet parking now and you can’t park yourself. They never have enough valet parking attendance on duty so you have to wait forever for your car. If you have to leave early morning, it’s very difficult. It never used to be this way. We stay here every 3 months for the past 6 yrs and we may not go back.

Now a confirmed Opal Fan...
Liked: I love this property. From how AMAZING and friendly all the staff are and professional to the beautiful entry way once you walk-in. The staff almost leap to help you and offer water, if I could alone rave about how fantastic the staff are- huge kudos to them! The property feels new and clean. You can’t beat the location, right across from the beach. They have everything you could ever need, from a convenient food/coffee/snack shop, gym, drift restaurant (loved the pizza) and a hot tub. You can also use the laundry service. Let me not forget the Tammy Fender spa attached to the Opal- now that is a relaxation experience all on its own. Best massage I think I have ever had and got to enjoy the infrared sauna after my massage. It was a wonderful stay and I am now a huge fan of the Opal.

Very disappointing stay!
Liked: Close proximity to the beach
Disliked: We checked in late due to traffic condition on the highway. When we arrived, it was around 8pm. The check-in staff informed us that we can NOT have a late check-out that day. And check out time was 11am. We literally went there for just for sleeping period. This was misleading that we weren’t informed about the check about the checkout time. Booking.com should refund a portion of the stay!!!
