Onsen Hotel and Spa

Definite recomendation at an affordable...

Liked: This place was basically after some below average motels on the way from Sacramento a father and son road-trip, like an oasis in the desert. Great Vibes, clean, comfortable with everything you need and more. Helpful folks recommenting good mexican food and hot pools where you can watch the sky in the beautiful desert at night. Lovely healthy breakfast, what a change for once on our trip. Close to Joshua Tree national Park.
Disliked: A bit hard to find the entrance. But I would've loved to stay longer! Everything matched well: The price, the room, the food the hospitality. Too many smoking germans around the pool but where told to cut it out, rapidly!

Liked: Nice room.The pools!!!Coffee machine in the room.
Disliked: Breakfast at 7:30 was a bit too late for us. It was very warm and we wanted to go hiking early.

Disappointed in the attention to...

Liked: Parking available in front of the hotel.Nice Pool area.
Disliked: Check In times are ridiculous from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM. Check in clerk was demotivated and a bit short with us. The room did not have any towels in the bathroom. We contacted reception (via email since no one is at the premise to assist) but did not get any response. The next day we wanted to have breakfast at 9:40 (breakfast is until 10:00). There was hardly anything available except toast and when we asked for eggs we received a comment from the same clerk that checked us in (Alex?) that he will be leaving soon and breakfast would stop at 10:00. The area where the hotel is located at is a bit shady and directly next to a cosntruction site. Overall a bad experience at Onsen especially regarding the service to the guest.

Liked: It was wonderful! Cleaned big bedroom, very good healthy breakfast, cleaned warm pool!
Disliked: Everything was great!

Superb

Liked: The rooms are light and spacious. The mattress was extra comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep. The pool and hot tub were perfect for relaxing and had the benefit of staying open until 11pm, so you could swim under the stars. .
Disliked: The pillows were a bit too full for my comfort. Breakfast didn't start until 8:30 am , so I missed out, though it looked delicious with fresh fruits, Greek yogurt ,bagels, and omelets.

Liked: Nice size rooms & bathroom. Very clean. Nice breakfast.
Disliked: Website said adults only hotel but when we arrived there was a child. Manager said company changed policy. We suggested they update their website since we and others at hotel were looking for an adult only hotel & facility.
