Disliked: We booked this hotel after a very positive experience with a One Shot hotel elsewhere in Portugal. Unfortunately the experience was let down by unfriendly and unhelpful staff. Room was very small.

Good Location for the Prado...

Liked: Location was excellent for our purposes - visiting the three major art galleries ; reasonably easy to walk to restaurants and key places (Plaza mayor etc.) in the evening.
Disliked: Hotel basically tired : Style over Substance, Fashion over Functionality! Needs a good make over Not particularly good attention to detail - on arrival we had two light bulbs out. There was just one, broken, bin, far too small. The personal safe worked as it should but was in the most awkward place.No facilities other than the communal coffee machine. Shower floor cracked, and flimsy door/screen - dangerous if one lost balance and reached out to support oneself.. Note to others : Mirror TV looks great but for non-Spanish speakers no international (in our case "English") channels - but also not "smart" so could not mirror iPhones etc. Terrace (balcony) : a totally valueless feature.
