Liked: Breskfast was fine.The staff at breakfast - and other meals - are not very good. They do not know what pleasant service and hospitality is. Most madrileño waiters know, these don’t. Maybe they can learn, that depends on the direction of the hotel.
Disliked: Something unexpected happened: the electricity disappeared Monday 29. Of April.I was alone, I was hungry, and asked for something to eat. My card did not work and I had no cash. They said Sorry, can’t help you. I could hardly believe it. Went back after some time, having walked the streets to find the Norwegian Embassy, which was closed, and a young girl in the reception offers me some ham from a bag under the counter. ( Her own?) That saved me. I went to bed at nine in the evening, still pretty hungry, but at least a bit relieved, thanks to the gesture from that girl, wish I had her name.Conclusion: Very badly handled situation from the direction of the hotel.

Disliked: A hotel needs constant care — not necessarily major investment, but ongoing attention. Water-damaged wood in the bathroom, a broken bench in the room, dirty walls… these things add up and hurt the guest experience. And for a 4-star? It’s simply not acceptable.

Liked: perfect stay, big bedroom, located two steps to colon and serrano. nice staff. bedrooms have AC and good bathroom, very big for europe average.
