Top notch - wish I could have stayed longer!

We are happy to stay...

Liked: Location, bar and room are exceptional. We were lucky to get 45 floor with astonishing view to the city and the lake. The hotel preserved a real vault from the first half of 20th century, when the building was a bank. We could see that enormous door, impressive.
Disliked: Breakfast is served from a cafe that locates in the same building. Benedict eggs were bland and we waited 30 min for them. I think it is because we had to pay in advance on the counter and we didn’t leave tips for the service we hadn’t got at the time. There are plenty of places to have breakfast around in 5min of walking thouth, so not a big problem.Bar is a different place and it was great.

Great value in the heart...

Liked: Good: Central location, friendly staff, high ceiling bedrooms, kitchenette, great value for money (although I booked 9 months in advance)
Disliked: Even better if: Beds were longer (my feet were hanging out the end of our double bed), hotel bar had more of an atmosphere

Convenient for a short stay...

Liked: Easy access from the train station. Nicely appointed studio apartment with all the facilities you need during a stay. Quiet for a city hotel.
Disliked: Nothing to say here. All good.

Exceptional

Great hotel and great experience...

Liked: Great location and great hotel. This hotel was an old back so you can visit the vault in the basement « it’s huge like a a Hollywood movie ». Also you have access to the metro and to the financial district « coffee shops and restaurants » directly from the hotel. Also they can arrange a trip to visit Niagara Falls. If it happened and I came back to Toronto in the future, for sure I’ll stay in this hotel.
Disliked: There was no slippers ni ropes at the room. Also the towels seems to be old but with good condition.So I recommend that you bring your own towels and slippers with you. Despite all that, for sure I’ll stay in this hotel next time.

Liked: Fantastic location, close to everything in downtown Toronto. Quick checkin, beautiful hotel, nice lobby with direct access to the PATH. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Stayed on the 40th floor, amazing views
