The hotel is beautiful and...
Liked: We stayed in a one bed loft room it was lovely we couldn't fault our room, the bed was so comfortable, the decor is beautiful and has lots of nibbles and drink if you want to buy it.The room was very spacious and had a small balcony with opening doors which was lovely on a warm day.The bathroom was spotlessly clean and beautiful, very modern it had a bath a good shower, the toiletries were very nice.
Disliked: Unfortunately the two out of three nights we stayed we heard a lot of noise above our room we stayed on the fifth floor, it sounded like table and chairs scraping along a tiled floor, also some noise until 3.45 am out the front of the property which is on the main high street. The hotel does have a lovely roof top bar with a DJ we didn't hear any music from that, only furniture moving, and footsteps back and forth. On check out there is a discretionary 5 percent taken from your holding deposit so BEWARE! although ours had been removed because of our complaint, I still think it's extortionate to charge 5 percent on almost £700 for three nights.I would often personally give a tip to my room cleaner anyway but I feel that's my choice and it shouldn't be just taken, We have travelled all over the world and I just feel this is wrong, and for that reason I won't be back!
