Disliked: Location was great as we were attending IOW festival. It was a 10minute walk from the festival. It felt very safe and welcoming

Liked: The staff was very friendly help and caring. The place was extremely well maintained beautiful gardens lovely relaxing atmosphere. Th owener was very caring she even took me to a nearby restaurant on my first day as I am not walking well and she even came back for me all in all a perfect place to stay

Liked: Nice garden.
Disliked: I thought the hotel was in the country because of the photos but it’s in the middle of Newport. Bit of a shock. We had to park and pay to park in car park. Had to get up early to pay parking at 8 am. Room was up very steep stairs - with notice Steep Stairs to warn us. Room Very small NOT like photos. Bathroom only had small shower no bath. BED awful, was not a double bed as it only measured 4ft 6 ins. Not a king size at 5 ft or a Superking size bed at 6 ft. VERY disappointing and not to return to this hotel. Food good. Had lovely breakfast - included - and very friendly service.
