Charming B&B in a central...

Liked: Friendly ,attractive, clean, comfortable bed, good breakfast, secure storage for my husbands bicycle, pubs and restaurants within walking distance
Disliked: No parking at hotel, although public car parks very close. Some early morning road noise from our room at the back. Would ask for a room at the front next time as it’s on a quiet street.

Liked: What an exceptional hotel. We were lucky to stay in the apartment. Whilst it’s a walk from the main hotel and restaurant area it was a beautiful place to spend a few days on the island. The staff who help with breakfast and cleaning are a credit to the two managers. Everyone is so lovely and the husband and wife team couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. We would not hesitate to stay again. The perfect location in striking distance of the whole island.
Disliked: The bed could be a hit bigger in the apartment it’s only a double.

Authenticity

Liked: A small, but well run hotel just off the centre of Newport. The staff are very welcoming and open. If they can help, they will. A new extension will offer more rooms as from Summer 2025, and the renovation has been done with sympathy for the original, late 17th century building. Attention to detail is at the heart of daily operations for the dedicated team, and, after meeting the owners, you can see where the infectious love for the hotel and guests comes from.One of the best hotels I have ever been in, and, as I used to work in hotels, I have been in many, many pretentious buildings, but this one is authentic and real.I would heartily recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. An enjoyable night's stay.

Liked: A friendly welcome. Room was quirky but interesting and very clean with beautiful fluffy towels. Lovely big bath . Breakfast was delicious & beautifully presented and with good coffee and staff were attentive .

Fantastic! Definitely recommend

Liked: The staff were lovely and friendly and the location was perfect. I had breakfast included, which was delicious and included a wide range of options such as fruit & yoghurt, eggs royale, porridge or a full English (to name a few). Overall I would definitely recommend saying here.
