Highly recommend - felt like a king there.

Beautiful, well-maintained hotel with lots...

Liked: I required assistance with a dog barking in an adjacent room. Jamal G. and the main staff person from the lobby did an excellent job in helping me resolve the problem tactfully and expeditiously. The hotel should be glad that they have staff that reflect well on the organization with their excellent customer service.
Disliked: This is an older hotel so noise from adjacent rooms might be problematic for some.

Easy and Nice location

Liked: Lovely place inside and out. Outside area was gorgeous, wish the pool was open when I went. Staff was amazing! :) Food venues nearby were delicious and it was a great place to drive towards downtown DC from, would stay again!
Disliked: Price on valet but honestly it’s not too bad as you know what you are expecting

Liked: The hotel parking is 55 per night..... You can hear EVERY noise in the hall!

Liked: The location is amazing; just a few steps from the Adams Morgan WMATA Red Line stop and all sorts of great restaurants. It has stunning views of Rock Creek Park. The insides are very "old world" luxurious. I didn't eat at the restaurant or drink at the bar but I'm sure they were great too. We rented a suite and it was spacious. The furnishings were great. It was so relaxing to come back to our nice suite after a day of touristing. The bellhops were so helpful and polite at helping us get our luggage from our car and to our room. Check in/out was a breeze and the front desk staff was quite obliging.
Disliked: The wifi was spotty. We kept getting kicked off the network. You also have to pay to upgrade your wifi plan. The 512kbps plan was pretty good for my own purposes but I have a kid who watches a lot of streaming videos and it was less than ideal for that.While the bellhops were great, I'm not sure what was up with housekeeping. On our first day there, I put some stained towels on the ground hoping they would be replaced when housekeeping came by. When I returned, the bathmat had been replaced and I thought the towels had been also, but when I looked closer at the towels, I saw that they were just folded in such a way that the stains were away from sight. I put them on the ground again but housekeeping never came by while we were gone.The elevators gotta go. They're painfully slow. By the time they arrive, there is a throng of people waiting who have to pack in like sardines, and sometimes they can't all fit so some unlucky people have to wait for the next elevator. This can happen several times before an elevator you can actually fit in arrives. (I know you can take the stairs but we were on the highest floor)
